Additional Online Programs Coming Soon

As part of our ongoing efforts to expand access to all learners everywhere, SDSU World Campus has a slate of exciting and innovative programs set to begin soon. These programs, which are being offered in a virtual format for the first time, will help to further establish SDSU World Campus as a leader in bringing quality higher education to a broader audience beyond campus, borders, and time zones.

The programs currently set to begin classes soon* are:

 

Bachelor of Science in Child Development

Our B.S. in Child Development program can help you turn your passion for children and healthy childhood development into a rewarding career. Led by renowned faculty and lecturers from SDSU’s Department of Child and Family Development, our two-year program is designed to help you understand the biological, cognitive, and social development of young humans. You’ll develop your knowledge in virtual classrooms and hands-on learning experiences with children and childcare service providers in community outreach organizations.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Acquire the skills you need to enter this important field of work with our B.S. in Civil Engineering program. Our courses will help you acquire the skills you’ll need to design and supervise the construction projects that shape our communities. We focus planning and constructing systems that are vital to the continued health and safety of our society. You can complete all necessary coursework in as little as 7 semesters, with just one week spent on SDSU’s campus.

Bachelor of Arts in American Indian Studies

Explore the rich history and culture of various Native American peoples in our online B.A. in American Indian Studies program. You’ll study the complex social relationships that inform and influence tribal communities. You’ll also explore the ways in which those tribes interact with each other and with outside communities, including the United States government, and you’ll learn how those complex relationships evolved throughout history. Our two-year online degree program works closely with the Kumeyaay Nation and other local Native American entities.

Bachelor of Arts in Economics

With our online B.A. in Economics program, you’re able to earn a valuable degree in economics on your schedule. Our online curriculum combines mathematical-based lessons in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and data analysis with courses designed to boost your critical thinking and communication abilities. Upon graduation from our two-year economics program, you’ll have attained a high-quality, well-rounded liberal arts education that will prepare you for a wide variety of career paths.

If you’re interested in empowering your community, our Bachelor of Arts in Sociology online degree program can help you learn the skills you need to understand how societies function, and how we can work together to improve them. This two-year online degree program focuses on community issues. You’ll develop a deeper knowledge of the workings of society and your ability to analyze social problems and communicate these analyses to others.

Our online M.A. Degree in Teacher Leadership program can help you strengthen educational communities across San Diego, the country, and throughout the world. This brand-new program gives you the skills you need to take on leadership roles within your school, helping to train and coach your fellow educators and colleagues towards smarter educational practices. You can complete all necessary coursework in as little as 3 semesters, and because the coursework is online, you’ll be able to earn your Master’s degree on your schedule.
