Walter Watts III, training and development manager, Sycuan Resort and Casino
Originally from Chicago, Walter Watts has called San Diego home for the past 25 years, and his background in training and development spans 30+ years. He has worked with the San Diego Workforce Partnership, San Diego City Schools, Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Sweetwater Union High School District, and various nonprofit organizations developing and implementing training, career, and workforce development programs. Watts is a 24-year Navy veteran and holds a Bachelor of Technical Education degree and Master of Science degree in instructional technology from National University. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and has served on the board of directors for the local chapter. Currently he serves on the board of the Urban League of San Diego County. In his spare time, Watts is an avid golfer and jazz enthusiast.
