This program is designed exclusively for graduate students currently studying at San Diego State University.
Need some more time to finish your graduate studies at SDSU? Our Thesis Extension program is designed to help you get the additional time you need to prepare for your Comprehensive Exam or Thesis/Project.
Thesis Extension for Plan A (Thesis)
If you’re a Plan A master’s student completing a thesis, you’ll need to be registered in either 799A or 799B when you submit your thesis to Montezuma Publishing for publication. 799B is a thesis extension course designed for students who were unable to submit their thesis while registered for 799A.
Thesis Extension for Plan B (Non-Thesis)
If you’re a Plan B master’s student who’s preparing for a comprehensive exam, project, or other culminating experience in your final semester, you’ll need to register for 799C in order to take advantage of your extension. Enrolling in 799C is optional in nearly all master’s programs.
